Decent good quality built tuff.
No as someone else had stated in their review this is not a actual telescope for looking at the stars and they do picture it on a tripod however it has a cell phone attached to it to show the scale of the product. So if you're misled and you looked at the pictures you probably should look a little harder next time ;) .. I don't have very many small telescopes or binoculars to compare tonor have I really messed around with a whole lot of them however my dad did have a pair of military binoculars from back in the '80s OR '90s so I do know what a good pair of binoculars feels like when you're adjusting them and depending on how far they're rated for to see etc.. anyways when adjusting the two dials it's really smooth and not too loose basically it's built with great quality it's pretty heavy for a small as it is it comes with a phone holder attachment and a tripod as well as two rubber caps for both sides and a wrist lanyard.. I enjoyed using it however I can only see license plates about a quarter mile away or less . Which in my opinion is still pretty dang good for what it is. I will say that depending on what phone you have it doesn't properly seat against the camera so you get a black shadowed circle around what you're looking at. So basically when using the camera on your phone and taking a picture through the telescope it's not the greatest again depending on your phone and your camera placement the depth of the lenses etc.. and when you're looking at something that far away the tiniest movement of your hands moving your phone or shaking makes the picture blurry obviously so the camera and the telescope have to both be sitting very still which I was able to use my tripod along with the phone holder and attach them together and set the phone down but the tripod is only like 6 in high so you would have to have something like a chair or a table or something to set this up on if you're wanting to take pictures far away of nature or whatever.. All in all though it is a very nice practical miniature spyglass, worth the $5 that I paid for it not worth the $50 that they're asking for it now, but if you live in an apartment complex and you have a 12-year-old son this might give him something to do in his room at night haha - spying on people is not cool at all especially through their blatantly open windows and curtains when they are changing or otherwise is not cool! I was only making a joke.

Great for Outdoors
I got one for my boyfriend, he hasn't tried it yet. If he doesn't I'm gonna. Love all the Merchandize. Getting more to give out for Christmas.
I am genuinely surprised
I am genuinely surprised by the quality of the product. I took a risk on a "just pay the shipping" promo and for the first time in my life, it actually paid off. This is a very good device, not the plastic childrens toy one might expect. Even at full price this item would be worth it.
